Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is earthy, pils grains, light smoke, straw. Flavour is straw, grains, base malts, and floral hops. Palate is nice and crisp, lght touch of acid. Lingering lemon. Decent beer.

Bottle at the chriso May 2014 tasting - London. Pours clear yellow with a white foam head. The nose is pretty basic with nips of hay and paper. Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and airy. Superfine carbonation. Sweetish floral tang. Touch of dried fruits. Fluffy malt underneath. Airy dry finish. Hides the abv well.

Bottle at Chriso, thanks to Leighton. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, floral, buttercups, bread & butter pudding and light toasty grain. The taste is crisp, bitter, floral, grass, hay, dough, light bitterness and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not bad.

Bottle from brewery via eebria.com. BB 02/2015. Pours a hazy gold with a few floaties (despite a careful pour) and a white head. There’s a fake lemony sweetness to the aroma and a little cakiness. Medium body, fairly full carbonation, quite foamy on the palate. There’s lemon, white bread, hint of metal, grass. I can imagine it going down pretty nicely on a summers day. OK.

Bottle from the brewery, via Eebria. Nearly clear, dark yellow. Thin, lasting, white head. Sweet and malty, with a light, honey spiciness. Taste is dry, and a tiny bit yeasty. Lively palate. Dry finish. Decent pilsener.

500 mL bottle into a pint mug. Fizzy golden yellow with a good bubbly head. Yeasty aroma, straw notes. Dry, full bitter taste, crisp. Quite good for a pilsner, drinkable and inoffensive.
