Bottle 275ml @ home. [ My UK Beer # 1000 ]
[ Courtesy of Mes_and_Sim ]. [ Vintage 2005 ]. Clear dark black color with a large, creamy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, dark berry - forest berry, cigar - tobaco, wood, oak, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is full, texture is oily - syrupy - creamy - smooth, carbonation is soft - flat. Plain and very very complex and very easy to drink ... give me more ;o)) (020708)

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2009 (Bottle 27,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg/Chris o. Vintage 2002. Pours completely opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma of raisins and bourbon - or oak rather. Quite full-bodied with loads and loads of roasted malt, dried and overripe fruit accents. Again some oak and vanilla appears in the flavour. The bitterness is very subdued. A very satisfying brew. 270607

Bottled at RBESG. Black as night, beige head. Evident vanilla and oak aroma with cocoa and coffee underneath. Fairly sweet with full body. Careful soft chococlate and coffee flavour. Quite reminiscent of Kaggen, but with more oak and sweetness. Less salty licorice and more oak than in the regular version. Very well made.
