Bottle 275ml. @ home.
Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee, dark berrys, fruity & sour notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, finsh is with a hint of young acidic / sour fruit’s. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. (100808)

A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is smoked and roasted with hints of sourness. The flavor is very rounded sweet with notes of coffee and roasted malt and it has a good palate.

RBESG2008: 27.5 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Smooth chocolate malt and roasted aroma. Flavour is sweet chocolate, roasted malt, light liqourice and coffee into a light tarish finish. Ends medium dry and roasted.

(Bottle 27,5 cl) Dark brown with an orangey tint and a light brown head. Distinct burned coffee aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweet chocolatey accents. A little low in carbonation. Plenty of vanilla also. Almost no bitterness. 290608

Bottled. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, licorice, some roasted notes as well as mild notes of tar. Flavour is salted licorice, coffee, some slight caramel malts and also quite wooden.

Bottled at RBESG. Black as night. Aroma of chocolate and tar. Balanced sweetness in combination with full body. Lots of salty licorice, coffee and tar. Powerful, yet restrained. Salty salmiak finish.

27,5cl Bottle. Trade with Cgarvieuk. Thanks. Pours black with a large creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is roast, liquorice, coffee and a bit of soy sauce. Very smooth and full bodied. Slick and oily. Flavor is roast, coffee, bit of chocolate , salty liquorice and vague smoke. World class . .

Black color; small head. The aroma is very British, it’s yeasty, also cheesy. Good body strength, and round mouthfeel; chocolate malt flavor, light tobacco; moderate sweetness; medium to low bitterness; light final astringency. Good.

Bottle 9.6% version BBF April 2012. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, wood and hops.
