Amber with short-lived head. Creamy, malty bitter. Good English bitter overall, I’d happily have it again.

Bottle from the brewery. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is a little fruity lemon malt and weak hops. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a zesty malt palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Very drinkable.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours hazy golden brown with an off white head. Aroma of cereal, barley, malt. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle courtesy of and shared with jmgreenuk. Thick white head. Hazy golden pour. Nice subtle bitterness. Nice brew

Bottle from Old Chimneys. Pours touch hazy orange amber, with thin white head. Nose is husky grain, cereal, malty. Taste is very light, cereal husky, touch of barley grain, touch of caramel or candy sweetness and slight touch of bitter. Very mild bitter and body is light. Finish has that husky grain flavour again from the malt.

Thanks joes for sharing. I don’t really like the low alcohol English beers. Not very bad, but it’s lacking in body, like most of these.

Thanks to Joes for sharing. Had this with Countbeer and Dutchdrebus. Clear orange color. Smell malts and yeast. Tastes like the edge of brown bread somehow. Little bit watery.

Countbeer (4728) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 7, 2011
Bottle: thanks to Joes for sharing: Very small white foamy head turns into a small white airy circle in the glas. Beautiful clear orange colored beer. Smell malts, caramel, ash, hint of spices, fruit, orange and yeast. Taste is a watery mix of malts, fruit, brown bread, hints of yeast spices, caramel and wood. Very light sweet bitter sour. Light dry watery mouthfeel, low body and low carbo.

A descent bitter but nothing spectacular from Old Chimneys. A nice golden appearance. Not a great head so loses a point. Floral and hay aroma. Toffee texture in the malt, caramel, floral hops and aslo a touch of grass. A descent English bitter. Bottle bought from brewery visit.
