2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Ever so slightly hazy yellow with less head than a can of sprite. Biscuity malt aroma when I opened the bottle, but in the glass it opens up to have a much more fruity character. Orange? Strawberry? Honey? Could be off here, but it kinda reminds me of Drambuie. And I definitely wasn’t expecting that. Anyway, once you have a sip of it theres upfront sweet grainy/biscuity maltiness. There’s some hop flavouring in there but they don’t really have the assertiveness you’d want in a pilsener. I had low expectations so I was somewhat pleasantly suprised that it’s not bad at all. A bit weird.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
OCB gift pack. Poured from bottle. Light golden colour with very thin white head. Aroma was surprising. Very fruity and floral, quite nice actually. Fairly weak flavour. Nothing offensive, but pretty plain. I found it almost had a ’wine’ resemblance. Hardly any hops bitterness at all, which I was hoping for. Overall, clean and drinkable, but I was expecting a bit more.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
341ml bottle, 5% a/v
Have had this several years running at Torontos Festival of Beer, never rated it though! Very pale pour with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity and grassy with a hint of spice. The taste is very sweet and malty, would be better with a bit more hops. Aftertaste is much the same, a slightly cloying sweetness lingers a bit longer than Id like.

On tap at Snug Harbour, Port Credit: yellow beer with no real aroma. Crisp metallic taste with some hop presence. Sweet canned corn and grass clippings round it off; not cool, man.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a medium to thick bone white head. Crisp grain, clean citrus hops, a bit of earthiness, and even a bit of vanilla. As it warms though acetaldehyde starts to take over. Medium bodied, quite sweet, more decomposing fruit, old caramel. Meh. Slow grainy finish. Most of this bomber found the bottom of my sink.
