Floral pilsner aroma, good looking moderate head. Served a bit too cold, still a moderate and very clean bitterness. Well yes this is a pale lager, a pale pilsner as they express it.. I met the European brewer/owner at the brewery to have this fresh as he intends it. Ice is used to filter and it is left on ice to remove unwanted sugar, from 6.1% down to 0.1%.That point he is trying to educate as part of the health correctness, and is not (yet)promoted in advertising. He said there would be no aftertaste, but it was a bit of bitterness and was what we are looking for.

NIce taste and good shape, although a little sweet and very Canadian alike, too boring after a while.

680 ml bottle. Pale golden colour with a mostly diminishing fizzy and frothy white head. Honey, light apple, toasty, and lightly grainy aroma. Lightly toasty and caramel flavour with a floral bitter finish. Light bodied, dry and fizzy mouthfeel, but refreshing.

I tried this beer after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent orange-hued gold with a 2cm white bubbly head that stuck around a while. The aroma was primarily grainy malt with a little hoppish hint. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and mildy carbonated. The flavour was a nice balance between the malt and a hoppy finish. A decent beer.

Bottle from Cooper St. LCBO. Aroma is clean, with sweet fruits, grass and a little cereal. Appears pale yellow and crystal clear with super high carbonation, but no head to speak of. Flavour is primarily grain with a little bit of sweet malts undreneath. Mouthfeel is very dry and so extremely light as to be actually interesting. Not amazing but definitely good enough for a quick slam on a hot summer day.

680mL bomber from the LCBO at Yonge and Summerhill. Pours a nice full gold with a small white head. The aroma is, well, awful, rotten vegetables and overly sweet pale malts, not much hop activity. Flavour thankfully is quite redeeming. Nice grainy malt sweetness upfront followed by a crisp but subtle hop bite and a bready aftertaste. A little on the sweet side but not at all cloying. Some dryness in the aftertaste as well from the hops. There’s almost enough hop character in the flavour to justify calling this a Pils. Enjoyable, and decently priced, though given that it’s only available in Toronto and the GTA I wouldn’t go far out of my way for it. Not sure why the over-all is so low, it’s decent enough, I’d buy it often if I lived in Toronto, if only it didn’t smell so bad!

TFOB. Nice slight hop aroma. Yellow, white head. Light mouthfeel. Taste is that of light malt with a hint of hops. Slightly watery and bland. Quenching on a warm festival day and a decent effort.

Bottle- Thanks Joey, I finally get to try this one. Sparkling pale gold pour, with a diminished white fizz. Aroma is grainy with lots of fruity yeasty esters. Some bubblegum too. Taste is pretty grainy sweet, some grassy hops, and it is quite fruity with subtle malts. Refreshing, clean, enjoyable. Maybe I got a good bottle?
