Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’14. Gold with white head. This was a fairly sweetish, light, fruity Golden Ale, some ripe apricot jam some saccharin on the tongue tip. Easy, smooth. It’s fine.

2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tried this at the Ypres Castle Inn, Rye, UK. Good smooth/creamy head with good retention. Nice golden colour. Little aroma, some hints of citrus. Some nutty flavour, if being frank little flavour.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the White Lion, Tenterden. It pours clear golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is toast, floral, light spice and citrus peel. The taste is crisp, citrusy, grainy, toast, floral and light bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not terribly exciting, but there’s nothing wrong with it either. Ok.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle; golden brown, clear, no head to speak of; woody, hoppy aroma; zesty citrus peel, biscuity malt; quite fizzy, bitter; ok, but lacks any real generosity of flavour.

Golden amber, clear, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft citrus, soft lemon, clean nose, light pale malts, slight floral notes
Taste of pale malts, soft dry citrus, slight smoky hay, some spicy hop notes, taste not quite as good as aroma, getting the Styrian Goldings
Palate - soft carb, light to medium body. Finish is quite dry, some slight biscuity malt, spicy bit smoky bitter finish, a tad rough
Overall - Not bad but some rough edges
