Bottle; gold, clear, no head; nice exotic hop aroma; light, moderately bitter beer which is saved from total mediocrity by a persistent fruity hop undertone; slightly piney finish; ok

Bottle: Hazy, golden to orangey coloured, no head to speak of, mineralic fruity nose, some hoppy edges detectable, but also some vegetables; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; dry slightly aromatic , but mainly bitter finish. Not the greatest Ale…
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Gary (1139) - West London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2011
(bottled) It looks like cask beer ...its fragance is citrusy, zesty , and pretty vibrant . in the mouth more citrus fruit , dry chalky notes, ripe kiwi fruit or passion , green apple resembleing acidity maybe. A very mild bready maltiness lingers . A rustic woodiness becomes pronounced. This flerts at both Pils and APA territory.

50cl bottle from the Home Brew Shop, Aldershot. Straw coloured with a loose white head and heavy carbonation to start; the aroma has a touch of honey; the flavour is light with citrus, honey and grassy notes; and a muted, biscuity, finish. A pleasantly refreshing summer beer.

Gravity, Derby Summer BF 2011. Pale gold with a loose rim of suds.
Lightly buttered corn snack aroma, some gentle pine. Simplistic and lemony with a Wotsit dunked in seawater and Alka Seltzer finish. Dunk of card. Almost decent. Just a crushing comedown after the Fyne Jarl.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2010
Cask at Egham United Services Club Beer Festival on 19 August 2010. Pale gold/straw in colour. Loose white head. Lively condition. There’s a whiff of sulphur in the aroma. Clean and fresh on the palate with plenty of citrus, moderate floral notes and a dash of bitterness. The sulphur on the nose persists as a faint tang in the flavour but isn’t disagreeably intrusive. Light but brisk mouthfeel makes for a refreshing pint (or half in this case).
