Fresh can. Pours clear burnt orange with a fluffy offwhite head. Aroma is strong resin, citrus and toffee. Taste is bitter with a touch of sweetness. Medium bodied with sticky finish. Very solid and somewhat surprising.

Can, thanks to Dmac at cigar fest. Pours a decent shade of copper, with a small off white head. Aroma is of nice pine, citrus, some light malty notes. Taste is nice, some sweet bready malts, grain, pine and citrus hops with a decently bitter finish. solid IPA.

Poured from 16oz can. Sprucy hop aroma. Dark amber with thin head that persists. Hops are mostly piney, with citrus and a touch of floral. Lotsa hops here. Toasted malt and caramel back up the hops nicely. Creamy feel noticed more about halfway thru. Just another great American IPA from a craft brewer. Love the 16 oz cans.

Can/1 pint. Extra from dmac. Thanks! Pours a clear orange: trim, sudsy, off-white head half a fingernail in length. Aromas of kelp, blueberries, earl grey tea, juniper berries, citrus, candied ginger, and brief grass. Tastes fruitier than expected, with notes of spice, hops, coriander, and pine needles. Ends slightly salty. Cool beer.

16oz can from Spirits Brick. Poured a pretty nice looking clear rusty orange body with an average sized foamy super light egg shell colored head. I wasn’t loving this aroma at all. Dirty soapy toast, bad tea, rotted citrus fruit. Body is great, medium to slightly fuller with average tight small bubbly carbonation and an average duration on the finish. Flavor is way better than the aroma thankfully. Notes of dry hop cones, dry toast, grapefruit, juicy citrus rinds. Hate the aroma but like most everything else about this beer.

My personal favorite of all of Old Forge’s beers. Goes well with any of their food offerings, especially meats. Hoppy, medium-bodied, medium bitterness, great finish.

Poured a bright yellow gold with an off white head. Big hops nose. Had a slight sweetness to it. Very good local brew.

Very good IPA. The hoppiness in mouth the nose and taste were there that makes hop-heads love this style. Solid offering.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2013 Amber with a tannish color head. Light, grassy, thin for the strength. Hoppy, slightly bitter, not very floral. A middle of the road sort of IPA.

Pours a light copper color with thin white head. Very slight floral notes in the aroma. Taste is very slight floral and citrus overwhelmed by maltiness and a rough bitterness. The bitterness is a bit out of balance for the rest of the brew for my palette, in spite of it being more of an English IPA.

16 oz can from to motortoddhead. Thanks! Deep golden amber with slight haze. Dank aroma with floral pine, citrus, and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is a nice balance of sweet caramel/light biscuit and citrusy hops/bitter citrus rind. Lighter on the palate than expected but this, coupled with the malt/hop balance makes this one extremely drinkable. Residual bitter rind/citrus.
