3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light stringy speckled lacing clinging nicely all around the glass.
The smell had a light citrus to piney bitterness roaming around my nose with a light biscuity/caramel malt underneath.
The taste was mainly the same: sweet with a tad of bitterness underneath.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as there’s a good harshness but nothing overly done.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good APA that I would have again.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear orangish yellow with thin white head and hardly any lacing. Aromas are faint: straw, some caramel, not much else. The taste isn’t much better. Starts off with a bit of hop bitterness along with sweet malt and some light citrus, dash of honey. Ends on a bitter note. Medium bodied; heavy carbonation. There’s just not much to this beer. It’s a one note kind of drink.

Pounder can from Whole Foods. Pours hazy straw with off-white head. Nose is hopcitrus, pale malt. Tastes hoppy and citric, with spare malt, mild white peppery spice and florals, and a crisp finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16 ounce can received in a trade with jdb288. A big off white fluffy head falls leaving cool lacing. The beer is clear and light copper and some carbonation rises up. Some pleasant gentle fruit in the aroma along with biscuits. I taste fruity hops that are also mildly bitter but they are not big at all. Some floral. A hint of spice. Pale malts. This is a nice Pale Ale but definitely not a great one.

Can. Medium gold/copper pour with a decent white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, bread, and some grain. Lighter body and easy to drink. Pine, citrus peel, a bit of caramel, and grain for the flavor. Weak finish not leaving much behind. Decent offering

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can thanks to a trade! Pours a clear golden orange with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a light grass and pine note with an earthy grain backbone. Flavor starts with grass and light grains and has a growing pine hop note with a hint of bitter resin in the finish.

Pours a clear amber with a thin head. The aroma has a nice malt base with a bit of grass and a bit of citrus. The flavor starts sweet and has a nice bitter end. The finish is dry and refreshing.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Nose of mild American hops and light caramel. Pours rich coppery golden, clear with a short foamy beige head. Taste is strongly bitter for a pale ale of this size, some hints of crystal-like malt, pretty dry, light caramel and earthy toffee in a lightly scratchy medium-full body. Mildly bready finish but that’s succeeded by a mix of mineral and metallic bitterness. I’d be happier with more dry-hopping but still pours a nice pint.
