Pours a deep gold with an airy pilsner type head which hangs for a bit. Aroma of slight grassiness and malty sugars. Taste is pleasant up front floral notes descending into a taste of graininess to malty bitterness.

Tap at TND. Pours a somewhat clear copper, with nice small bubbled medium head. Lacing was ok. Notes are grains, hops with a bite, and a light malt profile. Medium body with a finish that was better then expected...resinous hops and some sweet honey. Overall it was a decent pale ale but hard to drink when fresh alesmith ipa is on.

[4698-20120818] Tap. Orange leafy hops aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head and some lacing. Bitter orange pulp and rind flavour. Medium body is bitter. Tasty and bitter, drinkable. (8/3/7/3/14) 3.5

16oz can from Pinocchio’s. Pours a deep amber color with a big white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, cereal, bread, some light, grassy hops, with a light bitter finish. The aroma is better than the taste, but not bad.

Hiding in the back of the fridge after a week in Pennsylvania I thought this would be a good one to crack open fresh. A solid lawnmower beer is worth drinking once but doesn’t make me want to seek out any more of their releases. One is enough for now.

Aroma / Appearance - The bubbly heavy white head and transparent orange base combine well. Grass, oranges, and other aromas make it smell like a fresh cut lawn. The nose is a boozy orange slice.

Flavor / Palate - Light pine, grass, and then a weedy transition to a floral finish refresh the palate. The residual aftertaste hangs for a few minutes but is short lived. In fact it tastes a bit like alcoholic Sprite with a minor tartness.

Draft at Old Forge. Poured golden with thin head and a lot of lacing. Super fresh. I’ve had this before and never as impressed as I was today. Pine, grass resin, and little caramel malt. Tasty

Big Top, Roslyn 160z from variety pack: Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is citrus, resin, pine. Taste is rather hoppy and bitter throughout. There might not be enough malt backbone. Lingering aftertaste. Still, it ain’t bad.

This is now my second favorite pale ale next to headwaters and without a doubt the best beer I’ve ever had out of a 16 oz. can. It’s got a medium body and well balanced malt profile, slightly toward the hoppy side with a pleasant citrus flavor.

Ever so slightly hazy golden copper coloured body with a hint of orange coming through and a soapy, large, four centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grassy, herbal hops, a light citrus note with a definite metallic scent and a nice airy lighter note with some yeast noticeable. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic hops at first with a thinnish citrus and grassy note with not much malt at all and no sweetness on the tail end. Aftertaste still bitter from the metallic and grassy hops with a very pungent herbal note and a little citrus at the tail end. Overall, a nice hoppy water styled beer with a bit of a light body at the end, but a nice, very light and very pungently hopped beer - drink this if you want a lot of hops in the summertime. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennsylvania on 22-September-2012 US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 29-September-2012.
