Can from Beer Heaven in Philly. Clear copper pour under a thin, quickly dissipating white head. Mild citrus aroma. Weak pine note up front quickly replaced with toasted malt and a little vanilla. Very watery. Finishes entirely too much like a corn/rice infused macro lager. Pass if you come across this one.

A: Pale amber-copper.body. Thin off-white head. Minimal lacing. S: Not much going on here. A bit of bready malt, caramel and the faintest bit of the floral hops. T: A bit more punch. Traces of citric and floral hops. Light underlying malt based. M: Medium to light body. Appropriate carbonation, ever so little bitterness in the finish. O: Boring, but unoffensive.

Not a lot going on with this pale. Citrus and floral hops, light bitterness and fairly sweet. Not picking up much malt, maybe a little biscuit, but it’s mostly just muted hop tones. Ok.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, hops, and a hint of caramel. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, and a little garbage. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, hop, garbage finish is lightly dry.

My wife brought me a growler of this from a trip to Danville. This beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered and left copious lacing. The aroma was sweet pineapple, lemon, caramel and pine. The aroma was bitter and dryish with notes of pineapple, pine, caramel and a light herbal presence. The finish was long, dry and bitter with lingering pine. Medium body. Solid.
