The world knows no finer! Little Herman the German grew up watching his Opa and Omi brew beer in their single story stone-cottage located in Hamburg, Germany. What started as a hobby soon turned into a local phenomenon after neighbors and friends tasted their charming concoction. As demand increased, a family promise was made to never let money or admiration get in the way of the rich beer taste. Hermanís Opa and Omi got older, as people do, and could no longer keep up with the demand for their easy drinking lager. Eventually Herman the German took over the family business and kept his Opa and Omiís life-long promise by sharing his familyís original recipe with the world at an affordable price

Very bad cheap beer. Once again I bought it cause it was 8 bucks and that was all I had on me. I will never buy it again. Tastes like a stronger Natural Light.

My grandfather drank this slop because it was the cheapest stuff the beer distributor sold. I've drank worse, but not many. This truly is made from Allegheny River sewer water. Very weak hop taste, sort of a sulfuric or metallic after taste. If you're just looking to get drunk, then drink this, but drink it fast, before your taste buds register. On the upside, it comes in tallboy cans, and the motto is great for a laugh: "The World Knows No Finer". Makes Iron City seem like the nectar of the gods.

Bottom of the barrel Iron. Hard to choke this one down, and this from an avid Iron drinker. My great grandfather drank this until he died, he probably would have lived longer if he just stuck to Iron...

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2003 Sulphury, western PA creek water smell. Hint of honey, corn, and very little hops. Light straw color on small white fizzy head. Sweet taste, with bit of hops and a little honey. Salty/rubbery off taste. Weak, corn after. Not the worst beer I've had, but the best thing about this beer was the can.
