COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The world knows no finer! Little Herman the German grew up watching his Opa and Omi brew beer in their single story stone-cottage located in Hamburg, Germany. What started as a hobby soon turned into a local phenomenon after neighbors and friends tasted their charming concoction. As demand increased, a family promise was made to never let money or admiration get in the way of the rich beer taste. Herman’s Opa and Omi got older, as people do, and could no longer keep up with the demand for their easy drinking lager. Eventually Herman the German took over the family business and kept his Opa and Omi’s life-long promise by sharing his family’s original recipe with the world at an affordable price

Pretty awesome little dude on there. Sterile, dry grain nose with some soap. Damned sweet. Kinda silky. Lots of dish-soap to it. Doesn’t seem as fizzy as many macros which I appreciate.

Average German style Lager. Bonus points for having a cool story behind it.

12oz can (Old Notes)-Pours golden with a small head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is just another typical pale lager.

24 ounce can from Belmont Station. Drank out of the can. A light skunky metallic nose. Pretty much a mostly dirty grainy flavor. Not much flavor besides corn and metal. Easy to drink for the most part.

Pours a clear straw color with a thick, creamy head that sticks around the whole time and leaves good lacing. Aromas include aluminum, grains, and light caramel. Tastes like water, feels like water, light aluminum aftertaste. While not offensively bad, there is absolutely no flavor.

"The world knows no finer" Smells stale and papery with a touch of that sweet apple everybody’s talking about. Low carbonation, sweet, and flat. More of a headache with every sip.

oh yeah, Iron City’s cheap version. Actually, can you get a better tasting cheap beer for this price and taste. Better than most american macros, an old favorite here in the burgh.

Portland, Or - John’s Market Place - 16 oz can. Pours a very light golden with a soft foamy white head and nice bubble action. Aroma has some wet paper bag accents, a hint of green apples. Flavor is typical cheap industrial lager with some green apple funkiness, a hint of corn and a whole lot of blandness. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. I remember this beer can being on one of those puzzles with all of the beer cans.

Picked up a case of 12oz. cans for about $11. Drank straight out of the can. Not horrible. Would go down okay if you’re really hot and thirsty. The price was the best thing about it.

Very very pale gold color, no head. Not much of anything in the nose. A thirst-quenching tartness combines with a papery aroma. At worst, unimpressive. At best, unoffensive and very drinkable.
