Commercial Description:
Our stout is rich and smooth with the flavors of coffee and dark chocolate balanced by malt sweetness. It is brewed with ample dark roasted malts to achieve its black color. Kofresi is a creamy, full-bodied treat that pairs well with red meat, dark fruit, chocolate and dessert.

Very nice brew. Pours near black, with tan head. Nice roasted coffee aroma. Not much carbonation in this one which is good. Kind of thin in the mouth, but it works well with the carribean temps. Best brew of theirs that I sampled. Would drink again.

hand bottle from tizzlejizzle. thick roasted malts on the nose along with hints of dark chocolate. decent thickness and the roasted malts come thru quite well and the finish is nice and chocolatey as well.

Had this at the brewpub in Old San Juan during my visit to Puerto Rico. Roasty attractive aroma, makes my mouth water. Very dark near blackish but I can see hints of light thru this brew. Palate is pretty much flat but it does have plenty of good stout character. Roasty wet old damp campfire coals from last nights weeny and marshmallow roast. Nice and well behaved, not much oppressive bitter bite in this one and I’m glad of it. Friendly finish that is not over the top, just right. The best beer I sampled at Old Harbor. Not bad for a sweet stout, if your in the area, better try this one.

On tap at the San Juan location. This really surprised me. Pours black with a ruby tint. This bold brew is heavily structured around rich espresso flavors and some dark chocolate fudge. I wouldn’t exactly think of drinking stout when I was in the Caribbean, but i would always be up for sucking on this bitty.
