COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our stout is rich and smooth with the flavors of coffee and dark chocolate balanced by malt sweetness. It is brewed with ample dark roasted malts to achieve its black color. Kofresi is a creamy, full-bodied treat that pairs well with red meat, dark fruit, chocolate and dessert.

Bottle shared by Jay. Pours black with tan head. Nose and taste of light chocolate, barley, malt and as Jay put it "chocolate covered pretzel." Lighter than medium bodied.

Bottle thanks to Dany that I took to James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a deep brown to black with a thin white head. Smells of warm malt and chocolate, sort of smells like a chocolate covered pretzel. Medium bodied, a bit of burnt toast and warm malt. A bit of burnt malt into the finish, roast. Decent stuff.

Bottle share thanks to Jared, had some basic chocolate and coffee aromas. Taste falls a bit, pretty light chocolate and coffee roast.

By far the best beer at Old Harbor. Has malty aroma, lots of smoke and roast. Some dark chocolate. Aftertaste is bitter from hops and burnt malt. Toasty taste. Pours black with good lacing, good head. Average carbonation, thick consistency. Tap at brewpub.

Tap, hotel bar and brewery. Pours a clear dark brown body, almost black, with a small frothy brown head. The nose is coffee and roast with a touch of sweetness. The flavor is a nice mix of slightly sweet malt and roast with some slightly bitter coffee on the finish. Medium bodied with some clinginess on the finish. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Had several times over my vacation, the hotter the weather was, the better this was. Not exactly amazing, but easily the best beer to be had from the island.

Draft: Poured a dark black with a tan colored head. The aroma is full on malt. Taste is bitter chocolate and malt, with a dry finish.

On tap at the brewery while hiding out from the rain. Pours blackish brown with thin head. tastes of choclate, ground coffee, almonds, earth and toast. pretty flavorful and easy drinking enough for island life

From bottle bought at brewery. Good basic stout with roasted coffee and malt aroma. Body is a bit thin and aroma lacks a bit of complexity and depth. Easy to drink so I can see how a lighter stout like this is good in a warmer climate.

Smells of coffee, caramel, and maybe some chocolate. Tastes like coffee-flavored beer. Palate is a little thin.

Draft @ brewpub. Red-brown and flat looking. Aroma of cheap coffee. Thin. Nice subtle roast and creamy coffee palate. A bit of natural acidity, tiny bit tart. Not bad, just not great.
