cheapdark (1607), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 27, 2008 Sampled at the brewpub in Old San Juan. Creamy thin head. Just plain clean beer aroma. Pale yellow but I do detect a hint of haze in there. Some grassy flavors in the mix. A little more pilsner bite than the OH Coqui, but for the most part seems to be about the same recipe. Has a more intense pilsner bitter finish but is not over the top.
abcfan (161), USA Aug 28, 2008 Not a big fan of the pils style, but this one was very clean. Finish was a bit more bitter than the lager, but taste was very similar. pumpmaster (288), Florida, USA Jun 14, 2008 Tap 4.5 oz sample at the O.H. Brewery in Old San Juan, PR One of the best here. Pwn3d (621), NYC, New York, USA Apr 3, 2008 On Tap at the San Juan Location. Near golden in color, and a bit hazy. A fluffy white head atop. A bit sweet and floral, better than the lager. unclemattie (1662), Georgia, USA Nov 1, 2007 27 oct 07, on tap @ Old Harbor Brewery in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Clear golden color. tan head. Aroma of light malt with some hop florals. Flavor is a sharp bitterness. Followed by malt backbone. A textbook Pilsener.
