On tap at the brewery. Favorite of Puerto Rico! Poured dark brown coffee color, tall off-white head. fruity aroma of pineapple and banana, caramel, pale malts, some sweet spices, alcohol. flavor the same, with wheat and more malts and caramel. mild carbonation, full body, semi-sweet finish. Great job!

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2009 Taina is the seasonal at Old Harbor, so it changes almost monthly. I tasted this new Taina, at the oficial presentation of the beer, by Wolfgang Lindell, the head-brewmaster, at their Beer Club members gathering. Cloudy ambar with slight tan foamy head, lacing can be seen, but not lasting. Malty dried fruit aroma. Slight carbonation, malty, dried fruit and yeasty bread flavour. Very good micro brew, comparable to Aventinus. I want a growler,

Decent effort. Poured a nice orange amber color with malt aromas. Tasted of dark fruits and malt. Sweet malty finish. Would drink again.

Not much to say here, medium bitter and darkish flavors. Has some alky bite. Leaves a slight malty bitter bite on the finish. Tastes like a mixed brew of some sort. Not much Doppel in this brew. Better sample this again next time Im in San Juan. Probably the least liked of the 5 beers I had at Old harbor Brewpub.

On tap at the San Juan location. Was told this is a Seasonal offering for the bartender. Hazy dark amber pour with some nice lacing throughout. Medium body, smooth drinking, and a balanced taste of mostly malts.
