English ipa style. More malty with no noticeable hop aroma or taste. Bitterness gives way to a sweet finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap, brewpub. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small fizzy off-white head, decent retention. Nicely hoppy nose, some grapefruit and slightly grassy hops, light caramel malt. The flavor is a little too sweet for my tastes though, lots of crystal malt. Lingering instant iced tea like finish. Not a whole lot of bitterness makes it past the sweetness. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and a bit of stickiness. Meh, not really in my sweet spot for the style.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Shaker @ OHB. Pours a dark amber red with a strong cream colored head that remains until the end. Beautiful lacing. Strong hop and citrus aroma. Taste is bitter but not overly so. Very well balanced malt undertones. Great understated finish with almost no bitter aftertaste. This, along with their Wheat doppelbock should definitely become regular offerings @ OHB.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler form the brewery. Pours a slightly hazzy reddish copper color with nice off-white head and long lasting lacing. Aroma is strong on hop bitter with noticeable sweet malt. Flavor follows aroma, with hoppy bitter and slight malty caramel sweetness. Alcohol is noticeable, but not overpowering. Medium bodied mouthfeel and carbonation, quite balanced with a nice lingering bitter. Will definetly be a very popular seasonal at Old Harbor, and should probably be a regular.
