Had this one on tap at the brewhouse, and the first sixpack of this brew was on display. The beer was a dark-ish copper with some bready maltiness coming out in the nose. Slight hops to go with the malt in the taste, with a light-to-medium body. Drinkability was pretty good, though nothing spectacular. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 05-23-2009

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a small sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Drinkable session brew.

RATING 300!!! From growler into lager glass- nice for my boy in MI to bring this down with him earlier this month, although I drank it by the gallon when I lived up there~ or so it seemed. Poured faded ruby red, white ring for a head, aroma of lightly roasted malt, even after the journey. Hits the mouth with a thin-medium body, malts more pronounced than in aroma, small amount of sweetness on the finish. Very drinkable.

On tap at Old Hat. Golden orange body, medium off-white head. Caramely aroma and flavor, sweet cereals, Munichy. Bready and somewhat sweet. Quaffable if nondescript.
