3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Milder than I would have preferred, but nicely done in the same sense, quite well balanced. Malty, and full of rich fruitiness, perhaps some spearmint, that I am sure has something to do with a hop characteristic that I just cannot put my finger on. Definitely quenches the thirst.

Draught. Poured deep red, like a red wine with a lasting beige head. Much lacing. Hoppy aroma with some citrus. Hoppy and peppery flavour, with a fine bitterish finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good hop aroma. Nice balance between sweetness and hops. Hop aftertaste. Don't know if this fits the style correctly.

Tap at old market, portland, or. Malty aroma with toffee and caramel notes. Pours a dark ruby red with very little head and no lacing. Malty to start with toffee and caramel flavors. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with a hint of chocolate.

A brown color with a small head. The flavor was typical of an amber...some citrus, hops and a little bitterness.
