yarry (350), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Nov 2, 2007 650 ml bottle, 4.7% a/v
Pours red with a tan head. The nose is malt, with a citrus hop afterkick. The taste is malt with the same citrys hop taste. The Fuggles character shows through well. A very nice beer with a nice clean taste and crisp aftertaste. JustinBathurst (135), Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada Apr 10, 2008 Pours a reddish copper with a very creamy tan head. Around 2 cm of tight foam.
Smells extremely fruity and sweet. Very floral.
Mouthfeel is crisp and well-carbonated.
Taste is fairly sweet and citrus, and not quite so bitter.
I found this to be a really good beer. Something I could really drink as a session beer. Not as bad as the reviews would have had me believe Bobsy (196), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 19, 2007 Dang, I thought this was actually pretty good, so I’ll have to disagree with a number of the other reviewers. I found the taste very crisp and full of fruit. A refreshing beer. JoeM500 (1877), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2003 Light and refreshing with a soft flowery hops presence. Malts are subdued and sweet. Finish is light with just a touch of bitterness. I could have pounded plenty of these 650ml's on the front porch this weekend! Thanks Radek! Cartoon_khaki (1110), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Feb 16, 2003 Slight flowery and sweet malty aroma I realy enjoy the aroma. Crisp copper colour. No head but big bubbles lace the edge of my glass. Bitter and smooth and refreshing and slightly creamy. Very impressive. best till 06-2003
