tiggmtl (4307), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Oct 13, 2005 Sweet, creamed corn aroma wit a metallic edge and some grassy hops. Clear, golden, still body with low, fizzy, white head that recedes to ring. Sweet, cereal malts and grassy hops with light bitterness. Creamed corn sweetness lasts in the after-taste. Light, watery body with very strong, sharp large bubbled carbonation that does not last at all. Tumbler. Fridge temperature. Bottle (BB Nov-05, LCBO, Oct-05). tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 5, 2005 Bottle. Golden yellow pour huge fluffy head, well presented beer. Aroma was sort of sweet - honey notes, but also metallic and also something else - my beer education over the pass couple of years leads me to the word diacetyl and that about covers it. Taste was very straw like with more sour qualities. Bottle was stamped May 05. Not enjoyable - I bought 3 of their beers at the lcbo at Dufferin and Wilson and all of them seemed very off. JoeMcPhee (4911), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Mar 19, 2005 650 ml bottle. Pale golden, hazy appearance, thin white head fading to a slick of faint bubbles. Light fruity aroma, same diacetyl that all of their beers seem to have. Grainy malt and faint toffee. Flavour is full of diacetyl. Pale malt, some fruity yeastiness, and a sweet finish. Not a very good brew. Radek Kliber (3935), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada Jan 22, 2005 Pale gold lager with noticeable sweet gold malts. Initial decent hint of hops followed by soft malt . Well made but this faded fast leaving simple , thing lager feel . Well made, no technical errors found, simple, slightly thin and dry end. Tessic (439), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Dec 11, 2004 This lager pours a pale yellow with a next-to-no-head...head. The scents are generic and plain. Almost a corn syrup scent with next to nothing else. Taste is watery and not too bad but bland. I could drink more but i doubt I will bother. pootzboy (1037), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada Nov 6, 2004 650 ml bomber...poured a sickly pale color with gigantic soft drink bubbles..virtually no head from a hard pour. Light aromas of sour cider and a mustiness like mildew. Virtually no body.. slight cidey taste with an unsavory smutty yeast taste.... finish is fast and uneventful. This just may be a beer that copies the flavor profile of grand river water. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 16, 2004 watery. Little hop, some malt, no color, sickly aroma. And this was fresh. Touch of lemon mid-sip, like lemon in a water glass. Some bitterness, not awful, Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Apr 16, 2004 My bottle said 4%. Pours slight hazy gold. Little white head fades to nothing. It was very lightly carbonated. Very little aroma, some appley mild hop florals. Body is watery. Very light. Faintest caramel. Notes of salt. Dulls out in the finish with some late citric flavours.
