Commercial Description:
Irish ales are dark and rich in colour but are smooth and developed as an every day beer. A complex blend of imported hops and roasted barley give this ale a light aroma and bittersweet finish

Bottle courtesy of matt7215. Pours a mahogany red with a thin white head. Smells of roses, sweet malt, citrus. Tastes sweet and caramelly with a full bodied spicy finish.

650 ml bottle. Cloudy dark amber beer with a very thin off-white lace. Low carbonation. Fruity aroma underneath a load of diacetyl. Flavour is okay, banana and berries, but it’s tough to get past all of the buttery character. Slightly sweet finish. I’m not sure if these were stored improperly or what.

A deep dark reddish ale with a thin off white head. Aroma of chick pea puree, caramel and butter. In mouth, a ratbuher sourish malt with buttery notes, burned toast and oily mouthfeel. Boring. From LCBO Kingston, Oct. 2007. BB Jan 2008.

sugary aroma. Watery mouthfeel which is DNA of this brewery. Looks and smells and even tastes like cola. Passable

Bottle 341 ml
Appearance: clear dark amber brown with lighter slightly tanned top.
Nose: amber and brown malts , slightly vinous feel. Not bad.7-
Flavor/Palate : decent front with roasted and caramel malts ,thinner carbonated follow up. Slightly sticky molasses like ending. Faint hint of dryness on top. Bit empty especially with finishing yet with solid character.

May 2007. Bottle. Brownish body, moderate head. Moderate malt flavour with light bitterness throughout. Seemed to have been in decent shape but is still just okay. 5/3/6/3/11 November 2003. Pours dark amber, little head. Bit of sweet malt, has a sour tart note to it. 5/3/5/2/9

(650ml bottle) Pours a deep cooper body, slight sediment, and thin, quick-dissipating, white head. Toffee and malt aroma with a canny TIN nose. Sour malt. Interesing flavour - not expected - sour malt, malt, toffee... Very bizarre. Below average... Drain pour...
