1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
710 ml can from Drummondville depanneur. Pours a lightly cloudy golden colour with average white head. It’s downhill from there. Aroma is sweet with some fruitiness and lots of harsh booziness. Flavour is also harsh and boozy with sweet fruit and some graininess. This is pretty bad.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a slightly pale yellow colour with no head or lace. The taste is guh guh guh, scrap tongue with wire brush and swallow lye, to remove the flavour. Seven more to go.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
(1217-030914)

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a light golden with a steady stream of bubbles that propel a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of light fruits, hay, grass and a little cardboard. Taste is dry-ish with some light cereal flavors. Finish is pretty bland. Body is medium, carbonation medium-high and fizzy. Boring...

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours very pale blond with low-medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of corn, slight vomit, macro stuff. Not much to speak of nose-wise. Taste is of corn, sugar, cheap beer unpleasant aftertaste. Palate: Light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Meh. Drain pour (it’s been a while). Then again, maybe if i’d been fishing, on a hot summer day, with nothing else to chew on, i’d drink it...

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can, from store in Montreal. Pours clean and yellow. Actually tastes better as it warms, which is strange for cheap pale lager. Isn’t too horrible.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
What’s with the chick on the can? am I supposed to care? Drinking Old Milwaukee, I’m probably not too concerned about the label am I? Well, you never know about some tastes, but indeed in my further exploration of the "light" and "dry" phenomenon of North America, this was found in a sleazy fridge in a sleazy convenience store somewhere on that continent. So this pours bright yellow with a fair amount of head on top. If you inhale really deeply you can smell some cardboard, or maybe it’s particle board. Taste is nothing - nothing! And the palate isn’t that dry either, drier than a glass of water but not as dry as a "dry" beer should be. I wish all these "dry" beers didn’t taste the same, but they do, and that certainly shows in their ratings.
