Yuck Yuck, one of the worst I ever had, repelling and atrocious metallic corn fest.

Corn. Little else. Plae with fluffy head that collapses to nothing. No character at all. Lightly bitter in the finish. Watery. Highly carbonated. Bottle.

There is something to be said for a dry beer, and then a beer that is dry to the point that all the taste has been filtered out of it. Plain and watery, with nothing substantial in the way of body.

Canette 355ml.

Canned - 710ml. Golden body with a thin frothy head. Smells like a terrible mix of soap and corn. Here I give a bonus point for some hoppy hint I’ve been detecting after heroic efforts. Too bad that the system do not allows to give 0/10 for the flavor. It is basically watery with some atrocious notes of corn and metal. No need to say that there is no aftertaste at all. With 5,9% alc/vol, that insipid stuff is quite an easy way to get drunk for people who doesn’t like the taste of beer. Absolutely useless...

Can from the beer store- Sparkling yellow pour, frothy short lived white cap. Grainy nose with wet paper and pale malts with corn. Tastes grainy, not to sweet, but still corny and also tastes of dextrin. Fizzy, quick finish with grainy pale malt aftertaste. Not too good.

It’s amazing what you can get from Lake of The Woods. They have cornered the market on cheap beer in a big way.I don’t know if it’s just for the Canadians or for americans as well. This brew had a decent golden color, small whit head that faded quickly and left nothing behind. The aroma was, welll what aroma there was very nearly none except for something that smelled kind of like plain cornflakes. The taste was nothing special light malt some corn and the hops, where are the hops. This is a brew that could be better left alone unless your on a boat doing some Walleye fishing and just need something wet to cut the thirst your getting from the lack of fish your not getting.

What’s with the chick on the can? am I supposed to care? Drinking Old Milwaukee, I’m probably not too concerned about the label am I? Well, you never know about some tastes, but indeed in my further exploration of the "light" and "dry" phenomenon of North America, this was found in a sleazy fridge in a sleazy convenience store somewhere on that continent. So this pours bright yellow with a fair amount of head on top. If you inhale really deeply you can smell some cardboard, or maybe it’s particle board. Taste is nothing - nothing! And the palate isn’t that dry either, drier than a glass of water but not as dry as a "dry" beer should be. I wish all these "dry" beers didn’t taste the same, but they do, and that certainly shows in their ratings.

Dry is right. Not musch to this beer at all. Sour finish. I think that this beer is brewed at Sleeman or affliliated with Sleeman somehow.
