Drank straight out of the can. No appearance this time but Iíve poured this beer before and it is a light yellow typical of light lagers. The smell is light corn and grain and I swear I smell a little bit of hops in there. Taste is much like the smell. A light cereal grain with just a hint of corn on the back end. There is very little hop presence but it is there a tiny bit. The finish is completely clean and leaves you wanting another drink. A friend turned me onto this beer and Iím very glad he did. It is a step above other mass produced light lagers and is one of the best values out there.

Had this left over from a summer cookout. I bought a case for those who were afraid to try the craft beer I had. Aroma was next to nothing. Just some funky lager smell. Pour was a nice enough light, clear gold with a one finger white head. Taste was like water. A little sweet in the beginning but washed away with a clean water flavor. No aftertaste or anything to remind you that you just took a sip of beer. Blah

I canít believe I forgot to enter this earlier. Cheers to my father-in-law, his beer of choice (I think because it was cheap). Well, it tastes and smells like a watery adjunct laden macro lager. Serving: Can

Originally rated December 2006. The one we get here is brewed by Strohs Canada (which is basically Sleemanís). It is brewed at 4% (woohoo ! 0.1% more than in its home country). It pours a light yellow colour with a white fizzy head, that has not bad retention, and small amount of lace. Carbonation is pretty active, but only sticking to the middle of the glass (very weird). Aweful chemical nose, but at least it donít smell like water. Smooth and almost creamy mouthfeel. Taste of rusty water at first kicking into a corn finish with hardly any aftertaste. Maybe light malt. Not a horrible beer, but I would prefer having an Amstel Light before this one (or even a Miller Lite).

a well deserved gold medal winner it used to be the cheapest beer around but not anymore light gold color with a fast disappearing head not much in the aroma or taste department still not that offensive as far as macro goes

Yellow, fizzy pour with a thin bubbly head. Weak aroma of a standard light beer. Taste is pretty poor though a bit better than some of the more mass-produced light beers. Otherwise pretty standard thin, fizzy, corn brew.

In spite of the derogatory comments, it should be pointed out that at the 2007 Great American Beer Festival this won the Gold Medal for "American-Style Light Lager" over 26 other entrants. In apples to apples comparison against similar brews, this has much more flavor, more body, less cheap carbonating bitter, less corn, and a clean finish (although watery). Give it a break.

Yellow pour, white head. Aroma of corn...and water? Really not much to it. Some bready malt taste, corn, and a watery fizzy finish. Better as the light version because some of the bad tastes went away, but overall not good.

Colour: Void. Nose: Lacking. Taste: Light and bready. No expectations and still no results. Single can purchased from a Liqour Depot.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2010 Yes I actually drank this long ago back when I thought Miller Light was decent.....Fizzy yellow with a thick white head. Corn and grass aroma. Watery corn and dry grass flavor with a very light bitter twinge at the end.
