Yellow, fizzy pour with a thin bubbly head. Weak aroma of a standard light beer. Taste is pretty poor though a bit better than some of the more mass-produced light beers. Otherwise pretty standard thin, fizzy, corn brew.

In spite of the derogatory comments, it should be pointed out that at the 2007 Great American Beer Festival this won the Gold Medal for "American-Style Light Lager" over 26 other entrants. In apples to apples comparison against similar brews, this has much more flavor, more body, less cheap carbonating bitter, less corn, and a clean finish (although watery). Give it a break.

Yellow pour, white head. Aroma of corn...and water? Really not much to it. Some bready malt taste, corn, and a watery fizzy finish. Better as the light version because some of the bad tastes went away, but overall not good.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2010 Yes I actually drank this long ago back when I thought Miller Light was decent.....Fizzy yellow with a thick white head. Corn and grass aroma. Watery corn and dry grass flavor with a very light bitter twinge at the end.

12 oz. can from Greenís on Ponce De Leon. Ticker, ticker, ticker. This is actually one of my "go-to" beers when I am need of a thirst quenching drink, as I always am. Shit, itís only 3.9%, well, it looks like Iím going to have to switch back to South Paw, or the like. Transparent light-gold appearance. Head faded away quickly. Light grass hits the nose, with very little corn coming through. Light touches of malt sweetness provide a subtle honey aroma. Crisp, refreshing, easy to drink, and tastes very thin, but not horrible. If you want a veritably light beer, then go for one of the old fuckers.

(can - 12 oz) Fizzy yellow with a thick white head. Corn and grass aroma. Watery corn and dry grass flavor with a very light bitter twinge at the end. Good for the warm weather, but really not that great overall.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2010 When comparing against other ílightí beers, I prefer OM light to all others. It has a nice mouth feel and taste with a decent appearance. I can easily understand why this light lager has won so many awards (e.g. World Beer Cup, GABF) over the past decade relative to other macro brews out there. This is definitely the favorite ílightí beer that I stock in my arsenal. Plus itís dirt cheap!

Yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste are sweet corny nastiness with odd minerality into the finish. $7/case
