Pours a lifeless pale golden with a thin white head that leaves in a moment’s notice and leave really light lacing. Nose is of corn, hay and cardboard. Taste is more or less of the same with some metallic notes as well. Good thing it isn’t too tasty! Well, maybe it is more cardboard-forward than the nose. Blah. This is nasty carbonated water, nothing good to say about it. Body is ultra light and carbonation fizzy. Mouthfeel is just watery. Never again.

Old Milwaukee is a great staple beer. My family has drank Old Mil for 3 generations. It is affordable and non-offending. Nose is Empty beer-can. Appearance is yellow like a draft is supposed to be. Palate is light hops and malt. Overall 17. Simple and loveable.

Pointless. Absolutely pointless. Since it is safe the drink the tap water now in Milwaukee, there is no further need for this beer.

Transfer from BA review on 12-31-12- Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – Pours a straw color with a big billowy white head. The head has a pretty good level of retention, slowly fading to give a quite nice level of lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell – The smell is a mix of corn sweetness, some grainy aromas as well as a light citrus hop smell. Taste – The taste begins with a grainy flavor mixed with flavors of corn and rice. While lightly sweet initially, some more sweetness comes to the tongue more toward the middle of the taste. At the end of the taste a light citrus hop and a tiny bit of paper flavors comes to the tongue giving a rather simple and mild, but mostly clean (beyond the light paper taste) and crisp flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is quite light in terms of its creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather high. The light body and the higher carbonation level are very fitting for the simple flavors and crispness of the brew, accentuating the drinkability of the brew. Overall – Simple and highly drinkable with no highly offensive off flavors. With its cheap price, it makes for a decent party/session brew.

My grandfather’s beer. This one is on the light end of the pale lager spectrum. The aroma is grassy, the taste grainy and mild, the palate light, and the finish smooth. Overly gassy carbonation. I can drink it with him but it’s not something I would buy.

Enjoyed on tap at Franks Power Plant in Milwaukee, WI while doing karaoke with friends. This one isn't exceptionally good, but it's also not exceptionally bad either. I can drink multiple and have horrible stomach pains, but no blistering hangover the next day. So that's good, I guess.

Nummenrannassa. 0,355 l bottle labelled as Pabst Blue Ribboon, is this the same stuff? Nothing disturbing, nothing to remember in this beer.

Backlog 2011. Clear pale yellow color; aroma grain, corn, grass; moderate sweet and slightly bitter; light body, watery texture; aftertaste as in taste.

Drank from a can while on holiday and couldn’t find any good beer. The beer has very little taste, maybe a hint of hops.
