3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from BlackIPA. DISCLAIMER: This is a totally serious review.
Pours a nice golden hay, bubbly white head. Aroma is almost perfectly skunked. At first sniff it smells funky like some great sours Iíve had. Taste is smooth, crisp cereal, grain, a bit of corn, grass. Real crisp finish. This drinks real good. Incredibly chuggable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Not the worst Indian beer Iíve tried. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet citrus taste up front with a strong barley and vanilla taste to the finish.

shared the first time with the Houston BAís...they seemed to get a laugh from it ... has a pretty smooth mouthfeel.... tobacco flavours ... like rogue chipolte .... good for a malt liquour!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a maize yellow body and beady and small silken almond head. Nose was slight with smoke and pilsnerish. Prevalent rauch flavor was quite satisfying. Alcohol hidden well n crispy, gritty grain finish.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2008 This is a pungent and strongly flavoured, but enjoyable malt-liquor type. It is dark, slightly orangish yellow with a medium white head that immediately dissipates to a thing foamy ring. The aroma is pungent strongly fruity with musky grain, alcohol notes, and an unusual vegetable quality and a hint of pine. The taste is similarly pungent, very fruity with that same unusual vegetable quality that I recognize but canít quite place and some grain and a hint of pine. It has a full-bodied, warm, faintly meaty, spicy alcoholic quality similar to something like Steel Reserve but much more smooth, pleasant, and easy to drink. It goes pretty well with Indian food and is fairly enjoyable with a rather unique taste.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ok, first of all, this beer is nowhere near as terrible as people make it out to be. Its actually quite nice. No, really. It is.
Pours a clear gold with almost no head, but a steady stream of bubbles constantly rising from the bottom of the glass. Aromas of sweet corn, some vegetal matter. Perhaps a little sweat. Taste is pretty much like any standard lager - and by that I mean that it doesnít really taste like a typical malt likka. It is actually quite nice, and Iím not bullshitting. Pretty light mouthfeel lends itself to a certain refreshing character. Finishes slightly sweet but quenching. I like it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Where and how: bottle 650 ml , home
Aroma sweet malty feel with sugary add on. Alcohol quiet present but not very rough. Nice to note some hops here as well.
Appearance : 3-
Top: lighter white top, rings on glass.
Base: clear golden.
Palate : heavy, big bodied.
Taste: Plum, berry hinted with red apple, even some almond. Warming alcohol backing.
Other notes are we sure that this is lager? It feels like eccentric Belgian strong ale with Indian twist.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a copper-toned yellow with a medium white head that immediately fades to a bubble ring. The aroma is pungent and musky with heavy notes of grain and booze and a hint of evergreen. The taste is reasonably balanced malty grain and a peculiar piney hop bitterness.
Full-bodied, boozy warmth, almost silky smooth, quite easy to drink.
I choose it often with Indian food.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Weird musty rum smell with a cidery hint that makes me think of fusel alcohol. Taste is smoky and lightly sweet with a watery mouth presence. $2.50/650ml
