ABUSEDGOAT (1868), California, USA Apr 18, 2008 Clear golden yellow, moderate to small head with meh lacing and retention. Aroma is grain, glue, sweet pale malts. Flavor is the same, light bitterness. Light bodied, alcohol hidden well.
unclemattie (1521), Georgia, USA Jun 14, 2008 330ml bottle. Pours clear golden yellow, thin white bubbly head. Aroma of skunk, corn, and band-aids. Sweet malt flavors, light hop flavor. Light bodied. not good. KrausenJockey (561), Stockton, California, USA May 11, 2008 Bottle at local Indian restaurant. Pours a crystal sparkling light yellow color with a small thin head. Some aromas of overripe fruit, cereal malts abd a mystery aroma. Very strange tastes of a phenolic smoke flavor totally out of left field with some malty unfermented sweetness as well. Normally, a beer like this would be an instant drainpour but as I let it warm and sipped it with some spicy Indian food it became ever increasingly tolerable. The freaky nose was still hanging in there to the malty end. I’m afraid to ask what is actually in this beer. Some stones are just better left unturned, as are some turns better left unstoned, especially the left ones. Wulfstan (433), California, USA Apr 14, 2008 Updated: May 15, 2008This is a pungent and strongly flavoured, but enjoyable malt-liquor type. It is dark, slightly orangish yellow with a medium white head that immediately dissipates to a thing foamy ring. The aroma is pungent strongly fruity with musky grain, alcohol notes, and an unusual vegetable quality and a hint of pine. The taste is similarly pungent, very fruity with that same unusual vegetable quality that I recognize but can’t quite place and some grain and a hint of pine. It has a full-bodied, warm, faintly meaty, spicy alcoholic quality similar to something like Steel Reserve but much more smooth, pleasant, and easy to drink. It goes pretty well with Indian food and is fairly enjoyable with a rather unique taste. kmeves (981), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Jan 19, 2008 Pours a tyical pale lager golden with average carbonation and a quickly dissapearing head. Corny skunk aroma with a little bit of a bubble gum aspect. Flavor is surprinsingly refreshing for a malt liquor. Overall, this beer didn’t seem as bad as the comments it was getting. I won’t buy another bit I didn’t pour it down the drain either.
