Pours a dark black with a nice mocha head. Nose is malty with dark chocolate and deep roasted coffee. Taste is light with the aforemenentioned flavors. Carbonation is soft and texture heavy, drinks easily. Solid stout . Quaff Score 7 / 10

650ml bomber pours black in color with a generous light beige head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate with roasted grains and hints of coffee. Taste is a light chocolate malty sweetness with some roasted grain and coffee bitterness with a dry nutty finish. Medium bodied with some light carbonation. Flavorful, but easy to drink and one of the better coffee stouts that I have tried. Which is a huge compliment, because I am not a coffee lover.

Thanks to Casey and Blaize for sharing such great beers! Coffee Stout Aroma: chocolate, nuts, roasty, and fresh oily coffee. Appearance: dark of course but with a tight head that is tan. looks nicely carbed. Taste: beautiful blend without any one part taking center stage. you got chocolate and roast but real coffee and nutty sweetness too. Palate: ultra smooth with tight carbonation. Overall: One of the better coffee stouts iíve had. Iíd put it up there with other favs like hitachino espresso and espresso yeti (not as sweet).

Bottle: † Pours dark, nearly black, moderate frothy light beige head, nice lacing. † Strong black coffee aroma, minor cocoa or dark chocolate. † If you wanted a coffee aroma, this is it. † Simple and yet tasty. † Soft roasted malt, but mainly a strong coffee aspect. † Low bitterness, soft roated malt base, with a smooth dose of coffee with a little bit of cream & sugar. † Body and mouthfeel are average. † While not a big or robust stout, its entertaining in that if you enjoy coffee you will likely really enjoy this one. † Not bitter, nor overly done with coffee, but instead well balanced between coffee, roasted malts, sweetness, and general drinkability. † This is one of those beers that is just so easy to drink that you would never think "oh hey, this is a coffee stout". † Good stuff!

Bottle at home, from ny Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Pours deep clear black, thin tan head, ropey lacing. Nose is coffee, roast, toast. Flavours of deep, intense coffee, big graphite and creosote; lovely and dry, with surprising ashiness. Very tasty.
