3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Appearance is a hazy golden orange color with a substantial layer of off-white foam. Aroma is a potent blend of pine resin, ruby red grapefruit and vegetal hops notes. The flavor opens up with a strong emphasis on resiny hops bitterness, citrus rind, tropical fruit and mint. The body is slightly thick with significant carbonation and lots of aggressively bitter citrus peel and hops oil flavors in the finish. Different but equally enjoyable as Ruud Awakening.

**I think my bottle may have been bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Deep orange, thick with haze, moderate frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Big citrusy aroma, hoppy, slight pine and resin, and as Sloth mentioned, a touch of burnt rubber.   Not strong, but enough to say "who farted?".   Moderate hoppiness on the tongue, a little dank and sweaty, with a touch of that aformentioned rubber aspect.   Stale grapefruit like hoppiness towards the backside.   Seems fairly fresh wiithout being too bright or brash.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering grapefruit, pith, and resin notes.   Decent example, fresh, but a little farty.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Pours hazy gold with a short head. Decent retention and lace. Bright, green floral nose. Some pine and citrus as well. Medium bitter flavor. This one oozes with hop oils. Light-medium body, light oily texture, and a long, oily, bitter, grapefruity, dry finish. Excellent fresh hop IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Medium sized white head with very good retention and a sticky lace. Lightly hazy copper/orange hued brew.Nose is pungent with pine, resin and big citrus notes, lil burnt rubber (there you go!) danky hops and mild hints of caramel malts as it warms. Body is medium but with a larger chewyness, oily and resiny, soft carbonation.Big, juicy hop bomb, pine, grapefruit, copper and resiny leafy notes. Juicy, fruity, biting finish that lingers long time good. Were damn near in DIPA land here my friends! Many thanks to 5000 for the bomber. Thanks Andre!

22. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a loose white head. Light drippy lace. Big fresh piney nose. Creamy medium body with light carb. Pine, caramel, and oranges on the mid palate with a nice creamy tropical fruit finish. Kinda cool the sweet fruits donít show up til the end. Good beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
2012 bottle: One of the best fresh hop ales Iíve had this year, possibly the best (though Iíd have to taste Fremontís again). Has a lively carbonation and a crisp texture. Loaded with citrus from start to finish ... orange, lemon, passion fruit, rind, etc. Bold grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Juicy and hopalicious.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a beautiful copper color with a cream colored two finger head. Initial nose is strong of pine and citrus - very refreshing. As it warms up a bit, more floral notes become present. Tastes great of hop oils, grapefruit and pine. Robust, but not overwhelming. Leave beautiful thin lacing ad it is happily consumed. One of the best fresh hops of the year. Keep at it old schoolhouse!!
