COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Expect your taste buds to be rudely awakened and temporarily disabled by the plethora of hops used in this IPA. Expect a brutally bitter beginning followed by a mild citrus aftertaste.

Nice amber color with a nice head as well. Pine, floral aroma, sweet, spicy hoppy middle and a bitter back. Pretty good, I will definitely pick up this bottle again. I picked up this 22 oz @ Whole Foods Seattle (Interbay) for $5.49. I drank half of this 22 oz, corked it, then drank the second half about 12 hours later, the carbonation and taste held up very well.

Draught. Pours a somewhat hazy copper color with a fairly thick off-white head on it. Nose is definitely hop-forward, with some floral and grassy elements to it. Taste is moderately bitter, but doesn’t taste too fresh, which is unfortunate. Still a decent drink.

Draught at Brews Almighty, Everett, 4.8% ABV
Hazy amber color with compact head. Hoppy aroma, not extremely strong, with a light animal side. Good body strength, more than expected; the toffee malt is mostly evident, yet overwhelmed by the strong hopping; the flavor is caramelly, but also with plenty of resiny hops.
Good, but not elegant.

A - Pours a tangerine hue with a healthy , 1.5 finger head. S - Deeply malty. Caramel. Wheat. T - Starts off with a punch of bitter hops and backs off into citrus notes with hints of orange and grapefruit and slight lingering bitterness. M- Medium bodied with a slightly watery finish. D - Overall a superb beer. Absolutely wonderful example of the style.

Draft pour. Piney, floral aroma. A storm of hops in this IPA. This is everything I look for in an IPA. Loved it.

Bottle from prufrockstar, thanks! Pours hazy orange, medium white creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is dank, pine, citrus. Flavor follows, light sweet, medium bitter, dank, a bit biting. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Pretty good effort.

Bottle thanks to Lizzie and Daren! Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount bread and grass with a hint of resinous pine. Flavor starts with pine and resin that mellows to allow grain and bread to come through.

Bomber from Whole Foods. Pours a clear dark copper color with a large white head. The aroma is light biscuit, honey and big citrus. The flavor is great: dank initially, sweet citrus, green cones, some light resin, more dankness, some light caramel and biscuit. Pretty damn nice. Smooth, medium bitterness. A big beer. Nice! The palate is creamy and full.

Bottled: unk Pours a golden raisin ale with a solid quilt of cream foam. Smells of malt, biscuit, some faint hops, some caramel - unimpressive. Flavor is just malt, sweet and roasted malt. A touch of bitterness. Poor flavor as well. Medium bodied with low carb and a semidry finish. I wish I knew the bottling date of this beer, I’ve many good things, but I’m uncertain of the date, which gives me every reason to believe this beer could have come from the Huck’s cellar easily a year old.

Picked this up at Bottleworks over the weekend... Shared with reinheitsgematt tonight... The nice fella at Bottleworks suggested this and his bigger brother as the cool hopcentric beers they had in stock at the time. Pours a dark golden... great head and lacing. The nose is fantastic... tropical fruity hoppiness and a very light pale malt backbone... The aromas are great. Flavor mirrors the nose with a surprisingly mild bitter bite that is only balanced by the onslaught of hop flavors... again, this is pretty special. Body and carbonation are very nice. This brew is a damn near perfect example of a balanced PNW IPA... loving it.
