Bottle. Yellow clear. Herb/earthy hops, a bit of sweet pale malts and a peatyness that feels more oaky than smoky. Body is a tad oily, has some peat, hops, pale malts. A bit of whiskey- like notes in finish. Ok, not boring.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE
Aroma has grainy malt, honey, some grassy notes and slight smoke aromas – feels like a pale lager. Flavour has smoke, some woody notes, ash, peat, toffee and grain. Finishes with slight bun dough -like yeasty notes. Reminds me of some mildly smoked German lagers. Not worthy.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 rosenbergh (4762) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 17, 2013
330 ml bottle. L2702. BB Aug/2014. (Alko) Espoo, Finland.
Clear deep golden colour with a tiny white head.
Biscuit and caramel malt with some mild herbal notes in the aroma.
The flavour is smoke, malt, mild herbal touch and mild dryness. Rather easy to forget. Probably the 40th best Scottish beer for me.
How wrong can I be? Out of 204 Scottish beers I’ve tasted this was #175. I somehow forgot that BrewDog is Scottish...
