3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On cask at Alexander Graham Bell.
Appearance - amber with a nice head.
Nose - very delicate some citrus and gentle malt.
Taste - tangy lemon pith creamy malt. Slightly sickly.
Palate - a little unbalanced. The body is at least medium maybe needs to refresh on the end a bit more. The tang is a bit too much.
Overall - enjoyed the Wee Xp more.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask @ AG Bell, Edinburgh
Golden. clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma - Slight sweet malt, touch of herbal hops
Taste - Caramel malt, touch of toffee, creamy caramel, bitter hops. mainly sweet malts, hops come across as just bitter as flavour masked by the malts...quite like the creamy malt, not sure about the hops
Palate - Medium body, oily, sweet toffee malts, bitter quite astringent hop. Finish - lingering bitter hop mixed with caramel. dryish, getting booze in the finish
Overall - Very malty for an IPA. hopping quite astringent on palate, seems to be a work in progress - needs refining

Cask @ Counting House JDW. Hazy golden amber, reasonable head. Mild creamy malt aroma. Sharp glue flavour, bitter aftertaste. Not an IPA, not sure what style it is but it is not a good beer.
