Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 8, 2007 40 oz clear botttle - the right packaging for a Malt Liquor. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dust and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, dusty, and malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 1, 2005 (Bottle 100 cl) Wauw, this is actually quite fascinating. Danish "Malt Liquors" are most often strongly alcoholic and unpleasant. But this beer really is a technological study in the art of suppressing strong alcohol. Golden, very white slightly creamy head. Extremely light body, no real bitterness but a rather odd chemical aftertaste. Like a "Miller Light" gone crazy? Fascinating in a perverse way. And this enormous bottle never really empties.... Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 23, 2000 Updated: Apr 9, 2003Light gold colour, oversized bubbles, soapy-looking head; aroma of fusels, shitty homemade scrumpy, grass, and so much DMS it's more like vomit than corn. Soft initial sweetness (malt? could it be?) give way quickly to harsh alcohol, dms, cider, and a whole host of other nasties. This beer is like a guy with 8 different diseases. yespr (6361), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 26, 2007 From 40 f. oz clear bottle. Pours clear yellow. Good malt profile and slight bitter/citric.
