4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
All these comments below support my theory that this may be the best ipa on the market! Twice the taste as a lot of other ipaís for half the price! Great one to keep stocked.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle with a best by date of August 2014. Drank in mid-July. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is that of older hops (mainly orange and pine). The flavor has some orange notes as well as toffee and biscuit malt. Tastes like an older IPA. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
The aroma is clean, assertive hops, but not a west coast IPA by any stretch, the hops are extremely assertive in the bitterness, but its not supported by a hop forward flavor, just bitter as all get out. I canít say I liked it very much.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral, citrusy, and resinous hops plus caramel and pale malts and a little dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good IPA, but a little too bitter and not the best blend of hops.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce bottle
A very nice East Coast IPA straddles the line between IPA and Imperial IPA. Either way you call it the result is a well balanced hop bomb that is gone before you know it. I will definitely have to keep Olde Hickory in mind if I am ever in the area traveling.
Aroma / Appearance - A creamy opaque foundation simmers in the glass. Ivory head adds to the relaxing warm presence. Lemons, orange zest, resin, and more are like a hoppy custard in a glass.
Flavor / Palate - A bright bite of resin brushes away thirst immediately. Floor wax sweeps into a strong bitterness that refrains from being completely over the top. Full boded and warm it is the definition of an East Coast IPA. Raise your expectations if you are just expecting yet another local ho-hum effort.
