COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is STOUT beer, not for the meek! Hickory Stick Stout is a whole- lot-a beer full of malt. English pale and crystal malts start this beer quickly followed by big time chocolate and black patent malts. Tons of Cascade hops go into Hickory Stick Stout to round out the malt character. Hickory Stick Stout is a very robust stout, bursting with flavor!

22 oz. bottle shared by bsuedekum at the STLHops Pinball Party- thanks again, Blake! Gushed big-time when it opened. I got a little bit on a pinball machine and felt bad about that. Settles into a cloudy brown color with a still-massive foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, some earthy hops, chocolate, and coffee. Flavor of roasted malts, earthy hops, leaves, nuts, mud, and coffee. Super simple in aroma and flavor. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a roasty, earthy mouthfeel. Nice.

Bomber. A beautiful representation of a full-bodied dry stout. Deep black color with a large, then lingering cream colored head. Nose and flavor are coffee without being overpowering. Nice long, roasted finish like cold espresso. Simple but excellently made.

(22oz bomber best by October ’10 thanks to Mora2000) espresso/ruby brown with thick fluffy dark tan head. Nose is chalky, anise, licorice, dark chocolate, fudge and a bit of umami. Taste of dry cocoa, dark dried fruit in the background, chalky, Belgian yeast, spicy finish.

Bomber. Poured deep brown with a short-lived beige head. The aroma was quite sweet with honey, vanilla, and molasses leading.. light coffee roast accented. The flavor found sweet vanilla and molasses along with charred roast at the core.. prickly carbonation and sharper medicinal notes around.. not all that enjoyable. Medium-bodied at most on the palate.. low overall carbonation.. sticky, sharp, odd finish.. this was just aiight.

Thanks to the guys at the end of the bar who poured this for me. Pours black with a thin tan head. Toffee, roasted grain aroma. Taste is more of the same, roasted grain, some cara notes with hints of chocolate.

Bomber from Gail’s in Hickory, NC. Aroma is burnt dark malts. Taste is very bitter chocolate, chalky and smokey mineral vibe. Thinnish palate. Not my fav.

Very dark. Light brown head. Roasty aroma plus fig jam plus alcohol, maybe some cocoa. Sweeter and thinner than expected. Dry finish. Earthy.
