This is crazy tasting. Tons of berry flavor in a super thick stout. The aroma is pure fruit coffee and as the bottle says, honey. Awesome. Could only have a glass tho

22 ounce bottle shared at Hunhapu day, poured a dark brown, almost black, with aromas of chocolate, espresso, light raspberries, and some light oak. Flavors are the same with all of the flavors blended nicely, raspberry flavor is not overpowering, thanks for the share.

Bottle shared at Matt’s pad. Dark brown pour with a small brown head. Berry aromas. Dark malts, muted chocolate, raspberry, and mild expresso notes. A little light in the body.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JCB (3801) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 6, 2013
Bomber from Total Wine, Durham. Deep dark brown pour, slightly oily consistency with a fairly modest head. Strong but subtle aroma, deep chocolate malts and sweet barrel with the honey from Event Horizon and added berry richness. Impressively, it doesn’t come across as excessively sweet or boozy. Mouthfeel is really nice, though it could even be a bit fuller and bolder. But the flavors kick ass, with fresh, young berries contrasting so nicely with the oaky tannins and deep chocolate. I wish I’d stocked up when I had the chance.

Pitch black, coffee colored head
Smells like a field of berries with fresh roasted espresso and "gusho". Smells a lot like DFH’s bitches brew
Wow. Special. Lots of berries, plenty of roastiness and some oak char. Maple sap and milkiness.
Heavy body, goes to smoothly, roast oomph at the finish

Bottle from Justin. Thanks bro! Aroma had more of the raspberry smell and a significant amount of chocolate, while the taste was more bitter with more subtle raspberry. I really liked this one. Great beer.

22 ounce bottle from Timfoolery, flavor is as described on the bottle. Reminds me of fruit flavored coffee; not in a good way.

children, horrid brats .. . . deep brown .. mild head, lacing is decent .. . tar, charcoal and mild burnt barrel .. . a very mild barreled beer, good though .. . . we waste a lot of time tying our shoes,” said Mr. Crocker today … “Sometimes they come untied and we have to stop and tie them up again."
