22 oz. bottle shared by Jeremy. Pours black in color with a medium sized thick tan head. The aroma has a great combination of roasted malts, dark bread, coffee, dark chocolate, fresh raspberries, caramel, honey with the expected barrel notes. The flavor has all the character of a big imperial stout; roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark caramel, a hint of coffee, and a splash of honey. This is enhanced withe oak, bourbon and a touch of vanilla from the barrel. Everything is topped off by the raspberry fruitiness. I thought everything worked together nicely.

Vollmundiger Antrunk, deutlich schokoladig, minimale Schärfe. Geringfügig bitter, vollmundig malzig, passend trocken. Fruchtig, gut! 13/9/12/12/10/12

Bottle… Pours dark brown with shimmers of purple and a mid-sized, frothy, beige head. The nose is a roasty, fruity swirl of chocolate, vanilla, dark and red berries, espresso and subtle dustiness. Medium-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. The flavor is chocolaty, fruity, and full of toffee and caramel sweetness with only a trace of berry-like acidity. Finishes fruity and sweet. Rich. Enjoyability is fairly high. Drinkability is low. Bottle courtesy of Elliesbrown!

Bottle @ Natifest / Cincinnati OH --- Opaque black color, rim head, no lace. Tasted is roasted malt with mild vanilla and maybe a little raspberry. Very little bittering in a very warm alcohol finish. Quite strong, a big alcohol presence, consistency of syrup, wouldn’t take much to be enough.

Thanks to Don for sharing this one in Cologne! Smooth-mild. Very smooth. Chocolate, toffee, espresso. Deep in aroma, the aftertaste is long, intense-deep, not too roasted. Sourish-fresh, also in the aftertaste :)
Great! 14/13/13/14

Pours a very deep dark blackish color, thick. Big raspberry aroma, semi artificial, light roast comes through after, light choco. More raspberry, grainy, chocolate, smooth, light bourbon notes.

Thanks Don! Pours a super dark black/brown with a deep tan head. The smell is dark roasted malt, dark fruit, licorice, molasses. The taste is roasty malt, raspberry, licorice, molasses ending dry and roasty. Medium fill in body...Nice stuff.
