A mildly smooth single hop brown ale with a slight malty and nutty sweetness. Very pleasing while not overpowering or over filling. Great with food or enjoyed by itself.

Tap at Olde Hickory- slightly below standard brown ale- pours a woody amber with a thin head. Aroma is nutty, and light chocolate with some solvent and chemical thing going on. Flavor is earthy, nutty, biscuit, toffee, slight cleanser and a rough prickly finish- eh.

On tap at Union Jacks. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. The aroma is lactic and kind of hoppy with some chocolate notes. The palate is medium, just about what Id expect from the style. Plenty of weird, lactic sourness throws off the flavors of nuts, chocolate, and earth. The flavor is light for a brown. This is not so great.

Draught at Taproom in Hickory. Mahogany color, with medium white head. Aroma of roasted malts and smoke. Flavor is full-bodied--chocolate, caramel, and more of the smoke. Finishes with a soft/sweetness.

Caramel color, thin white head. Smokey, sweet bready aroma, with some notes of caramel. Ever so slightly over carbonated. Malty sweet, with notes of toffee and RC Cola. Dryish, clean finish.

Draft sampler at the brewery. Another easy drinking beer that I could drink all night. Had a slight sweet flavor to it.
