A Premium Pilsner Lager Beer brewed with the finest pilsner malts and hops from Germany and the Checzh Republic. Piedmont Pilsner is light in color and easy drinking with a clean crisp finish.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor are classic pilsner. I get some grass and bready malt notes as well as a decent amount of bitterness. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2015 Bomber into a 22 oz. mug. ABV is actually 4.5% A: Very pale hazy yellow color. Very cold bomber, poured a massive rocky head that had to be allowed to settle. Lazy bubbles rising. Some sediment. Laces well too. Looks very good! S: Crackers, white bread. Little hop presence. Classic pilsner smell though it doesn’t promise much. T: Much like the smell with sharp cracker bite upfront and scrubbing carbonation on the tongue. A light earthy then more floral hop flavor finishes dry and refreshing.Very malt-forward but definitely not sweet. M: Carbonation! Fizzy and sharp.Crisp, light bodied and again refreshing. So easy drinking I could knock down a six pack, alas all I have is this bomber. O: Pleasantly surprised by this as it has low ratings. Not complex but well executed if a bit thin. I actually am a fan of low ABV beers and this is one. I’m a pilsner guy and I like this and would certainly buy again.

My Bottom Line:
Decent grain aromas and flavors dominate this underhopped Pils.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the clear light yellow.
-Hops are nearly a no show, sadly.
-This remains very drinkable because it is lean and clean.
-The malt flavors don’t point to German or Czech maltsters I know.

On tap at the Olde Hickory Station.

A lightly blonde pilsner with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with grassy character, light Hops, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with light mineral notes, grassy hops, OK. On tap at Olde Hickory Station.

Pours a light yellow color with a small bubbled head. Aroma is biscuit and crystal malt. Some grassy hops. The taste is balanced, doughy malt gives way to a hint of lemon citrus and a strong grassy hop. High carbonation makes it very bubbley. Some what bittery. Easy drinking and refreshing with a bit of bite.

Serving: Bottle from Bottle Revolution. It pours a pale yellow with a fleeting white head. The nose is grassy with a bit of diacetyl. The flavor follows suit with a slight touch of malt. Slick mouthfeel.

On tap @ Olde Hickory. Pours a very light yellow appearance with a thin white head. Pretty blend, a touch sweet market, lemon aroma. A touch zippy. Somewhat sweet flavor. Moderate carbonation. Kind of bland but not offensive.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours perfectly clear pale yellow with a fine, creamy white head. Light biscuity pale malts in the nose, cereal, hay. Light sweet flavor, lightly hoppy, further bisuity malts, mellow floral notes, hints of grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, some dry cereal, biscuits, hay. Very basic.

Bomber. I really really dislike pilsners and this beer is no exception. Nothing crazy and true to its class. Yuck. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
