Pilsener flavored beer. Tastes grainy and unbalanced. Smelled fine, but lacks
the crispness of a true pilsener.

Bottle. Light golden color, medium white head. Aroma of hay, grain, grass. Easy drinking crisp pils, thin body, little finish. Ok overall.

GABF 2002: Light coffeeish aroma?! Pale straw color. Strong coffeeish bitter finish, not much else.

draught. Pours really light, apparently filtered, with good head retention. The nose is quite corny, husky, though mild overall. The flavor is made up of wood, earth, sweetness, and not much dryness or bite. Not my favorite pils.

Nearly clear pale straw color with an out of control head that deposits fluffs of lace. The taste is clean malt that balances more through sourness than hops. It has the dubious quality of making me want to belch without being able to. Not a winner.

thanks to emacgee for this bomber... pays a light pissy straw with a little gold... sweet grain with a bit of skunk... doesn’t taste like much of anything, like grains, a bit of floral skunk, a touch bitter, but mostly just water... aight but no reason to drink this

On draught at the brewery. Golden straw pour with a tiny ring head and sparse lace. The nose is nonexistent, seriously... Weird. Light malt, some lemon, tiny, tiny hops. The finish is just a touch of bitter, but not hitting on much. Semi-watery palate, but for a light take on the pils style, it integrates nicely. Just not much substance here.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Drake (6507) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - MAR 13, 2010
22 ounce bottle from Bestway in Greensboro, NC. Best by July 2010. Pours a very pale yellow color with a thin head. Fair head retention and decent lacing. Aroma of corn, sweet malts, confectioners sugar and a bit of grass. Taste is pale malts and grassy hops with a faintly sweet finish. Light on flavor. Thin and faintly watery. Light bodied. Clearly intended for the macro fan.

Draft sampler at the brewery. Nothing exciting here. Looked like a pils. Tasted like an old mans beer.
