Bottle: Pours clear, dark amber-red with frothy beige head. Caramel, chocolate scent. Sweet, light, watery caramel malt flavor.... Nothing bad about this one, but it’s just too weak and watery for the style......no personality or depth.....

Tried during a paddle taster and was glad that I only had 2 oz. of this beer! Not a favorite or a second taster.

On tap @ Olde Hickory. Pours a dark orange appearance with an off white head. Graham cracker, toasted aroma. Bit of cracker. Kind of spicy. Slight diacetyl and butterscotch in the mouth. Caramel and toffee. Moderately sweet. Pass.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, amber-red with a mild, creamy tan head. The aroma holds butterscotch and bread, perhaps some caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor, a bit of butterscotch, maple syrup, bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish with lightly toasted brown bread, maple accents, creme caramel. So so.

Bomber into lager glass. Dark amber/red color. Malty, earthy, toasted syrup aroma. Earthy, roasted nuts, clove taste. Palate is medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, quick pine finish. Overall a fine example of a Vienna lager. Don’t knock it just because you’re an IPA fanboi... (spelling edit)

Draft at balloon fest. Just confirmed that I don’t like lagers. Couldnt wait to drink an IPA to get the after taste out.

Bomber. Let me preface this by saying I am not a lager fan. No aroma that I like. Nothing that tweaks my palate. Need t stop trying lagers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

draft pours dark red nice lacing. nice malt aroma with some sweetness. medium hop base. the flavor is mild for it is a red lager. kind of middle of the road. side note they use this beer to marinate and steep their corned beef in. decent enough if you enjoy lagers.
