Draft. Hazy golden color, huge thick white head with good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of lemon and straw. Taste is boozy lemons. Oily mouthfeel.

Bottle shared by b3shine. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized, fine bubbled white head. The aroma has yeast, dry malts, grass, some mild floral and herbal notes, light lemony citrus with a light buttery note. The flavor has dry grassy and malt character, light fruits, light florals with that touch of butter. Smells better than the taste.

sort of an orange wheat appearance. 1 finger head. Lots of coriander, orange, cloves and honey on the nose. taste is a bit spicy, very yeasty but insanely sweet and almost Sprite-soda like finish. flat soda.

Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate malt, citrus, and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. I had but would not recommend this to a friend.

750ml bottle, thanks to b3shine for sharing. Bottled April 2012. Clear yellow orange color. Good thin white head. Little bits of loose lace. Estery, lightly tart nose. Some citrus (lemon). Medium-plus body. Little sour taste, some sweet. Belgian yeast characteristic is a little more pronounced than I’d like. Nice kind of lemon citrus zest to it, though. Light to medium smooth carbonation. Sort of viscous body. Not quite my style, but still a fine, interesting saison

Bomber to snifter (shared with the group by me; thanks John). Looks solid; a semi-transparent orange with thin off-white lacing. Smells solid; doughy and yeasty with a bit of spice. Tastes like it smells, only milder. Average on the palate. Not bad.

Aroma is movie theater buttered popcorn and bananas. Taste is oily sweet and buttery. This is a cloying diacetyl mess.

an unfortunate diacetyl bomb, tastes more like a boozy poorly made biere de garde. Booze, malts, saison yeast strain fine characteristics are lost. Bad times.

750ml from Sam’s, Durham. Very strange saison, though I didn’t find it as dislikable as some other raters. Mine was plenty carbonated, a vigrous light orange with modest flaky sediment. Nose was a bit jarring, with that same sharp barrel quality that OH used in their imperial pils. Taste delivers this same impression, but backed up like a bunch of apple juice and a strong malty biere de garde vibe. Weird.

Very fruity in the aroma; when pouring it, I almost thought I was pouring juice. Pours cloudy and golden with a moderate head. Slightly sweet, slightly sour, this is also slightly thick.
