sneagrams3 (1453), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 8, 2008 Tasted 4/26/08. Sampler from the brewpub. Hazy with a pale golden hue. Trace off-white head. Honey and graham cracker nose. Light to medium bodied with tight effervescence. Crisp and smooth. Light malt roast. Tasty and off-dry. Touch bitter. Possibly my favorite from this joint.
timsilvia32 (254), from Michigan now in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Jul 16, 2008 Poured gold, little head. Not that much head could form in the taster I had. Sweet and a little grainy, like a sugar cookie. Maybe with a bit more hop this could balance out. Pretty sticky and heavy for a light ale. Will say, at least they try to do some different things here. But don’t care for this one. Had a feeling I wouldn’t, but why not for a free try. shendrix (462), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA May 11, 2008 Not surprising from the look of it, and its name--tastes of corn and honey with a bit of clover on the back of the tongue. thehoff (522), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Feb 13, 2004 This was a really nice beer. Very cloudy, a pale white gold. Yeast at the bottom of the glass when I finished. Slightly bitter and slightly sweet. No sign of honey anywhere.
