Draft sample at OPB. Poured a hazy amber color with an average white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Good hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of average duration. Good brew.

Growler acquired in trade with hoppymeal (and an extra to boot - thanks!!!). Poured a cloudy orangish color wih an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, and some pine. Tastes of floral hops, citrus, and a trace of caramel. Medium grapefruit bitter finish.

3fourths (7803) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 4, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2008 Cloudy orange and hazy. Hugely grassy and bitter, dank and juicy all over this one, from smell to taste to aftertaste, where it dries out. Mandarin orange notes and cannabis notices in this one, with some nice, crisp and clean biscuit malt notes and heavy use of c-note hops (or Amarillo?) Good stuff, but the nose got a little meaty and herbal when it warmed.

Pailhead (4418) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - DEC 10, 2005
On tap: Citrusy aroma with grapefruit hops. Transparent orangish-amber with a small white head. Quick slightly watery sweet citrus up front is quickly overtaken by a big grapefruit hopped finish. A tad thin in the mouthfeel. A simple IPA, but decent.

On tap at Olde Peninsula brewpub. Cloudy light amber with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus hops, grapefruit and some grassy hops. Taste is more of the same, with a somewhat bland grapefruity finish. Perhaps a little thin.

Tap @ brewpub. Amber colour, white head. Aroma of some pine hops. Flavour has flowery hops, grapefruit, caramel malts. Not bad.

beerbuzzmontreal (3490) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 16, 2007
Cloudy amber pour with a thin offwhite head. Mild aroma of hops. The flavor has more power than the aroma, there’s some citrusy hops with chewy malt and a bitter finish. The body is light to medium with an oily texture and lively carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet caramel malt, and sweaty hops. Flavor of citrus hops, hops oils, caramel malt. A very tasty IPA -- good stuff! One of the better fresh IPAs from a Michigan brewpub. 7/4/8/4/15 [3.8/5]
