Our most popular seasonal! This golden ale is lightly hopped. Spices are added to give it the taste of eating a slice of pumpkin pie in a glass.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2015 Clear rusty orange. Nose of potpourri pumpkin spice and pie with a little bit of black pepper. Flavor is sharp and peppery, almost meaty like jerky or pepperoni mixed in with the pumpkin spice. Vibrant and effervescent, peppery on the tongue, but still moderately thick and frothy for the style. Very good.

Sampled at great taste. Smells like I want it to but there is some earthy bitterness that doesnít work. Spices are almost right. Just not quite for this one.

Draft. Pours a hazy golden orange. Aroma and taste are spices with some malt and pumpkin.

Tap @ Olde Peninsula: Hazy copper-amber & sunburst gradient with a bubbly, beige film & collar that leaves some nice lacing behind. Aroma of spicy cinnamon, creamy nutmeg, mild potpourri, & a toasty malt background. Lighter hints of ginger & vanilla towards the back-end. Taste is heavily cinnamon *& ginger, very well spiced with lighter inclusions of nutmeg, toasted bread, & crispy, crackery malts. Some slight earthy potpourri spice brings on a touch of bitterness in the finish. Thin bodied. Not bad.

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate ginger, lighter nutmeg, faint pumpkin, and cinnamon. Itís a slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with mild caramel and brown sugar. The Irish has moderate-heavy ginger, light nutmeg, allspice, and a touch of cinnamon. Itís light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draft to taster at Olde Peninsula. Looks solid; a hazy golden orange with foamy creme head. Smells of pumpkin and related spices, much like pumpkin pie. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

On tap from memory. My favorite Pumpkin beer. Pours amber. Smells of cinnamon and pumpkin pie. Taste is spicy, slightly sweet and roasted malt. Well balanced. Fun beer.

On draft at Olde Peninsula brewpub. A good pumpkin beer with lots of "all spice" that give it a pumpkin pie aroma and flavor. Pretty good.

Good initial pumpkin smell, which then turns barnyard later. Low carbination, possibly due to the growler.

Draft at the brew pub. Pours a apple cider color. Little bit of lacing. Nice spicy aroma as it warmed up. Tastes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Very nice beer. Highly drinkable. Both my wife and I agree that the 2008 version is better then 2007.
