mephisto (1083), Taiwan Jan 23, 2008 a solid ipa that is not overwhelming and has enough bite. cloudy orange with beige head, it has the typical floral aroma and flavor for this style.
dkachur (647), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 9, 2008 Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Orange pour with a medium head. Decent lacing. Sweet floral hop aroma. Earthy, slightly vegetal citrus hop taste with a nice sweet background. Full bodied. IMtheOptimator (1101), Bethel, Connecticut, USA Jul 8, 2008 Poured a clear golden with a fizzy white head. Crisp aroma of lemony citrus, a bit of grass and pine, some light biscuit dough. Taste is fairly hoppy and refreshing with lemon, pine, and grass rounding out the hop flavors with some slight biscuity malt and just a touch of butter taste, which thankfully does not interfere as much as it could. Although some IPA’s come across as somewhat heavier than session ales, this one maintains a crisp character with its lemony citrus hops and somewhat light body. While not the best brewed or most complex IPA I’ve enjoyed, it has some decent merit to it with its decent flavors and refreshing nature. Won’t write home about it, but will happily finish the bottle. Palidor19 (1207), Brandon, Florida, USA Jul 8, 2008 This beer is not hoppy in the traditional sense, but has a strong herbal like flavor with a great overall feeling. slightly buttery, very good. nick76 (1970), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 8, 2008 The aroma is hoppy with butter and caramel malt. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s nice. rudolf (1543), Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 6, 2008 Lighter copper, puffy white head. Nose is light brown sugar, older (english?) hops, lightly astringent fruit. Flavor is fruit, light burnt malt, hops.
