Pours a coppery orange in the glass along with a soapy head. Immediate pine and citrus aroma. Clean bitter hops flavor. Some grapefruit and herbal notes as well. Overall, a fairly decent IPA. I’d pay to buy another couple of bottles when I visit Virginia again.

Finally got around to trying this one... Very nice pour, golden color with a nice white head. Aroma is of sweet hops. Taste is highly hoppy with a nice citrus backbone accented by a smooth sweet frontness. Very well balanced.

Draft - A very nice beer with a large amoutn of hop aroma and flavor. More in \line with the style of IPA I prefer that has a nice light malt character held up by large amounts of hop.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 tia (805) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - OCT 10, 2011
Tap. Not my fave IPA- prefer hop bombs. Golden with thin white head nice lacing. Had trouble with nose- peaches, vanilla, and citrus? Not too sweet, not too bitter. Light.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 merlin48 (656) - Jenkins, Kentucky, USA - SEP 5, 2010
22 ounce bottle found at Pappy’s Beer Store near Ewing, Virginia. Pours a hazy orange amber body with a medium sized beige head that retains well and scatters some attractive sticky lace. Aroma has soft fruity tones of apricot, pink grapefruit, and ripe pears, with some herbal and grassy hops and buttered caramel. Medium body and carbonation has a nice creaminess, Taste is well balanced and a bit sweet for style. Grassy and herbal hops have a solid bitterness but sweet buttery caramel and a faint hint of chocolate malt add a balancing sweetness. Fruity pink grapefruit and apricot notes add a nice touch. Still, hop-centric as per style yet very tasty and well balanced. Really enjoyed this bomber.
