Commercial Description:
We invite you to experience our Amber Ale, a beer as beautiful to look at as it is to drink. Our recipe blends our own pale malt base with three specialty malts and the freshest "American" noble hobs. The resulting deep, rich color of Olde Towne Amber Ale means great flavor, leaning toward the malty side with just a hint of hops in the bouquet. Olde Towne Amber Ale is a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth. Tasting is understanding.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with brentfeesh. Pours a hazy amber with a moderate linen white head that faded to a film after the first two sips and left a very thin scum on the glass. The aroma is malt, grain and peanut butter. The flavor is malt and some earthy grain and plantains. A bit odd. Very light hops bitterness at the finish. Mediocre at best.

draft at brewery pours amber, light beige head. aroma and taste, grainy, roasted malts, feels watered down. Overall profile keeps a malty aspect with some faint touch of chocolate and caramel and additional light floral hops in the finish.

It’s another state for me. That’s about it. Brown pour, caramel taste. Minimal hops.

Bottle thanks to BeerHawk. Pours crystal clear amber with a half finger beige head. The nose is malt and earthy hops. The taste is nutty/malty/earthy. Medium mouthfeel. An OK amber. Thanks Steve!

Tap @ the 1st Annual Rocket City Brewfest. 08 may 09. Light copper color. Caramel malt aroma. Flavor is nutty, toffee, toasted malt. Hops taste stale. Not a fair balanced beer.

Lots of my friends have babies, but I don’t have any babies, but I have lots of friends - babies don’t have any friends. They all have those baby-monitors so they can hear the baby from the other room, which I consider a form of wire-tapping. One day there’s gonna be a really smart baby who makes a fake recording of some fake baby noises... Gonna crawl out of the window and go to Italy.

As a neighbor to the north, I was definitely anxious to finally see what Alabama beer was all about. Yikes. Pours a dark amber, beige head. Malty aroma, hint of caramel. Taste the same with watered down finish. Not a fan. I feel for ’ya Alabama. :(

Dark amber, thin beige head. Caramel and butter aroma. Sweet smooth watery feel. Very plain.
